With telehealth, you no longer have to struggle with transportation to a session or worry about confidentiality walking into a therapist’s office. You truly can receive counseling from a location of your choosing, whether it’s your bedroom, car, living room, etc.
For telehealth appointments, it is best to be in a location that provides strong WiFi connection or use of an Ethernet cord to decrease the risk of any technical issues. You will be given a unique link to my confidential client portal that you will use for each session. This link can be used to meet with me from any device that is most convenient for you.
When you schedule a telehealth appointment, I encourage you to find a space where you have total privacy from others and minimal distractions. It’s preferable to wear headphones if you’re concerned about others hearing our conversation.
